Go To Foods

Duration: March 2024 - November 2024 Role: UX/UI Designer

Team: Design System Team

Context

As GoTo Foods continued expanding its portfolio of nationally recognized brands, maintaining consistency across digital products became increasingly complex, leading to fragmented user experiences and internal inefficiencies.

The Project

Go To Foods approach us with this new digital initiative to create a core product that services all of their seven brands apps and websites. The purpose of this project was to make it easier to manage their digital products meanwhile being able to utilize shared APls and feature functionality across all of their brands to ensure accessibility,, consistent spacing, and atomic structure.

White Level Design System Solution

Given the need for the product to support multiple distinct brands, we created a robust design system to enable UI flexibility. We grounded the system on Design Tokens hosted in Token Studio, allowing developers to pull them into a GitHub repo. My contribution focused on reviewing the UI layer, validating tokens, and ensuring consistency across components for 2 of their brands.

Design System to Development: Figma + Token Studio + Github = Product

I was responsible for the tokenization of two brands (Cinnabon and McAlister’s), collaborating in design sessions to create brand-specific features while maintaining a consistent design system across seven brands.
